As many of you know, I’m passionate about the intersection of technology, history, and creativity. For my latest project, I decided to dive deep into the world of AI and bring a piece of ancient lore to life. I’m thrilled to introduce you to my new app, Solomon Spirits 2.0, an interactive grimoire built with Google’s AI Studio that lets you commune with the mystical spirits of Solomon’s Key.
You can check it out for yourself here: Solomon Spirits 2.0
What is Solomon Spirits 2.0?
Have you ever wished you could ask a question and receive a cryptic, mystical answer from an ancient entity? That’s the experience I wanted to create. The app is a digital grimoire where you can choose from a selection of spirits from the Lesser Key of Solomon, a famous 17th-century spellbook. Each spirit has a unique personality, history, and purpose, drawn from the original text.
For example, you can choose to speak with Vassago, who declares things past, present, and future, or Bael, the first principal spirit who can grant the power of invisibility. There are twelve spirits in total to discover, including the wise Barbatos, who understands the voices of animals, and the logical Buer, who teaches philosophy and the virtues of herbs.
The Magic Behind the Curtain: AI

As an AI consultant, I’m always exploring new ways to use this powerful technology. For this project, I used Google’s Gemini to power the conversations. I wrote detailed system instructions for each spirit, defining their personality, voice, and historical background based on the grimoire.
When you ask a question, you’re not just getting a random response. The AI embodies the character of the spirit you’ve chosen, crafting an answer that is not only relevant to your query but also steeped in the lore and personality I’ve designed for it. The result is a truly immersive and thought-provoking experience.
Why You Should Check It Out
If you’re curious about AI, interested in mythology, or just looking for a unique and engaging digital experience, I think you’ll love Solomon Spirits 2.0. It’s a testament to how we can use modern technology to explore and interact with ancient stories in completely new ways.
The app is designed to be atmospheric and fun. You’ll find beautifully designed sigils for each spirit, an easy-to-use chat interface, and even a personal archive to save your past communions.
Developing this has been one of my favorite hobbies, combining my skills as a project manager and app developer with my fascination for AI. I’m excited to share it with all of you.
