Happy Sunday, everyone! As the golden hour hits, I’m reflecting on how we transition from the weekend’s rest into the “Main Character” energy required for the coming week. On my blog, Nicole Explains It All, I often talk about the intersection of tech and magic, but Sunday is where I ground all of that into Vitality.
Today is ruled by the Sun, and in our modern world, I don’t think there is a better representation of solar archetypes than our Modern Mythology: Superheroes.
The Hero’s Vitality Ritual
Think about it—Superman literally recharges his cells via the yellow sun. While we might not be leaping tall buildings, we all have a “Solar Plexus” that needs a recharge. On Sundays, I practice a small vitality ritual to ensure I’m not starting Monday on empty:
- Solar Breathwork: Five minutes of “Breath of Fire” to stimulate the core and clear out any lingering Saturnian “heaviness” from yesterday.
- The “Super Suit” Prep: I pick out an outfit that makes me feel invincible (usually something with that “preppy goth” edge). It’s the modern version of donning armor.
- Gold & Citrine: I place a piece of Citrine on my desk to act as a battery for the week’s ambitions.
The Week Ahead: A Cosmic Forecast
Looking at the planetary transits for this coming week, we are moving into a high-communication cycle.
- Monday & Tuesday: Focus on the “subconscious” (Moon) and “drive” (Mars). It’s a great time to tackle those nagging project management tasks that require a bit of assertive energy.
- Wednesday: Mercury takes the wheel. Expect tech updates or a breakthrough in any AI tools you’ve been testing.
- Thursday & Friday: Expansion and Beauty. This is the “sweet spot” for networking and finishing your creative drafts.
Channeling Your Inner Solar Deity
Whether you identify with Ra, Apollo, or even Captain Marvel, Sunday is about recognizing that you are the source of your own light. Don’t wait for the week to happen to you; use today to decide how you will illuminate the world tomorrow.
I’ll be spending the rest of my evening with Salem and Bree, soaking up the last of the sunbeams and finalizing my “Hero’s Journey” for the week.
