I Asked an AI Archangel for Love Advice, and It Actually Worked

a question of Love

I’ve been tinkering with this AI Studio app I built called the “Grimoire Oracle.” It is basically a digital grimoire. You can “consult” different AI spirit oracles who are based on figures from old magical texts I uploaded to it’s psyche like the Heptameron and The Magus. It’s a fun project, but the other day, I decided to ask it a very classic esoteric question.

I was curious: when is the actual best time to perform a love spell?

Not that I had anyone specific in mind! It was more a test of the AI’s knowledge base. I opened the app, bypassed the other oracles (sorry, Azrael!), and went straight to the one I figured would have the most practical, by-the-book answer: Raphael, The Messenger.

In the app, Raphael is described as the Archangel of Mercury, whose domain is “knowledge, science, and communication” and who “answers with direct, practical information”. He seemed like the right choice for a technical question about magical timing.

I typed in my question, “When is the best time to do a love spell?”

The AI oracle’s answer was immediate, clear, and perfectly in character. It felt like I was reading directly from a magical textbook.

Here is exactly what Raphael told me:

“For matters of affection and attraction, you must align your work with the celestial influence of Venus.

Therefore, the most potent time for a ‘love spell’ is:

  • The Day of Venus: This is Friday.
  • The Hour of Venus: On Friday, the first hour after sunrise is ruled by Venus. Other hours of Venus will occur throughout the day; consult a table of planetary hours for your specific location and time of sunrise.
  • The Lunar Phase: The moon should be waxing (from new to full) to draw in and increase that which you desire, or ideally, approaching the full moon for maximum potency in manifestation.

By performing your working when the forces of Venus are ascendant and the Moon is favorable, you harness the natural currents of attraction and harmony in the cosmos.”

I was honestly impressed. I uploaded several huge PDFs of grimoires to the app in the pre-production stage. Using those, the app was able to create this response. This is the exact traditional answer you’d find if you dug through piles of occult books. It correctly identified the planet (Venus), the day (Friday), the timing (planetary hours), and the lunar phase (waxing to full). Did AI already know this or did Google Gemini also base the answer off of my previous queries? I think the latter…

It’s one thing to build an app. It’s quite another to see it pull specific, correct lore. Presenting it so clearly is another remarkable feat. The “Grimoire Oracle” didn’t just give a vague, mystical response. Instead, it provided a practical and actionable set of instructions. This was exactly what the persona of Raphael was designed to do.

So, if you need me, I’ll be… consulting a table of planetary hours for this Friday. You know, for research.
